Born in northern Namibia on 29 October 1952, Cde. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is married with three children.

Political Biographical Profile
Cde. Nandi-Ndaitwah is a holder of a Masters Degree in Diplomatic Studies from Keele University in the United Kingdom. She obtained Post Graduate Diplomas in International Relations; and Public Administration and Management, from Keele University and Glasgow College of Technology, respectively.

Marco Mukoso Hausiku, born 25 November 1953, is a Namibian politician who was Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia from 2010 to 2015. Previously he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2010. In 2017 he was elected Deputy Secretary-General of the Swapo Party at the party's 6th Congress.

Sophia Shaningwa is a Namibian politician who has served as Minister for Urban and Rural Development since 21 March 2015 in President Hage Geingob's administration. In 2017 Shaningwa became the Secretary-General of the Swapo Party.

Shaningwa was appointed Governor of Khomas Region in 2004. She later served as Governor of Omusati Region. In 2014, she was elected to the National Assembly. She had previously worked at the National Housing Enterprise and served as Windhoek West councillor.

The Position

The position of Executive Director of the SWAPO Party is new. It was created by the SWAPO Party following a long standing Central Committee resolution to have a high-level human resource pegged at the level of Permanent Secretary in Government. The resource is intended to assist the Secretary General in the day to day administration of the Party. Further, the Executive Director is expected to work with and liaise with SWAPO Party Departments, Wings, Regions, Districts, Branches and Sections in order to bring in efficiency and effectiveness in the administration of the SWAPO Party.
